I have unfortunately needed this vet for over one year changing from my long term vet as we no longer have a car to get there. My daughter introduced me to Medivet Laindon and have been really surprised at the kind vets here and support we received I would definitely recommend

We have been with Medivet since it took over from the Vaddem practice in Benfleet when he passed on and we were very satisfied with the services we received, always friendly and informative. Due to moving further away from where we lived we tranferred to the Laindon branch where we received identicle friendly and informative service. We certainly would not change our outlook as we feel that the pets are always put first.

The staff especially the vets have been wonderful. This year i had issues with both my cats and unfortunately one was beyond saving with cancer but the vets did everything they could. My other cat has been here twice this year for surgery and he was treated so well. A great place and great staff. Thank you for all you did for both my cats.

The vet misdiagnosed my cat, and I paid for something that was not needed. I know my cat better than anyone, and the vet didn't listen to me at all. She had made her mind up that my cat was being fussy and just refusing her treats, and that's why she was dropping pieces out of her mouth when she had crunchy treats, but still drinking water fine and eating soft/creamy things. She said it had nothing to do with the ulcer she found on my cats mouth. Well she was wrong. She gave my cat an appetite stimulant, but when we got home from the vet, not long enough for the pill to have taken effect (10 minutes) I got some of my cats normal food and mixed it with water so it wasn't crunchy. The biscuits didn't dissolve but the water was brown and obviously had taste because my cat lapped it all up immediately. She did not have an issue with fussiness, she was in pain. The vet did give her a pain relief injection, which is what worked. She started eating normally again within a few hours and is now eating her regular food no problem. It was never fussiness but the vet didn't listen, despite my repeated attempts to tell her why I thought it wasn't her being fussy. I had to pay for a medication to be given that was unnecessary. And on that note, this vet is extremely expensive. A friend had a cat with a wound on her leg. The cat got treated for the wound under sedation because she was so stressed/scared. She paid £90 for that. How does a consultation, 1 pill and 1 injection come to £102 when her consultation, treatment and sedation only cost £90? I'll be finding a new vet. Also, when my cat was unwell earlier this year, I paid £6000 for her treatment. Which was adequate I'll give them that. But a friend informed me that they had massively overcharged and it should not have cost that much. Avoid the chains and see a small business.

Brilliant veterinary practice. Antonis is a very skilled & competent surgeon.he has treated my dog throughout his life & always trust him with the care of my animals . My dog Murphy recently had surgery carried out here & was looked after amazingly by all the staff. Friendly welcoming practice staff go above & beyond would 100% recommend

Excellent ongoing care Vet explained the options, pros and cons and costs clearly. After 6 months the difference the librella is making is wonderful, he is back to bouncing round the love of his life, his agility course, and at nearly 15 he looks amazing
