Took my dog for a second opinion on a heart murmur! Was told she had a grade 3 and a blocked valve! £1000 later to find out there's nothing wrong with her! She was actually graded! And they take no responsibility! Was told 'well she's ok ain't she"! Discusting! And weeks of worry!

Staff are to the point of any issues and the recommendations/ prescriptions made have worked for my dogs allergies as well as they pointed out he had plaque build up on his back teeth which I never thought to check. He had his teeth cleaned yesterday as well as one of he’s ears and can’t believe the difference! Like turkey teeth!🤣

I can't thank the staff enough for making our last moments with our little Charlie calm and peaceful. They were so understanding and went out of their way to look after Charlie's needs whilst also thinking if us. Thank you

Absolutely horrendous experience. Our family dog is going to die if something isn’t done ASAP. She has been skin and bone for ages now. This has been on going for 3 months. But now she’s on her last leg. It first started with runny stool, then throwing up. She was taken in for this but was prescribed usual anti sickness meds, this didn’t work, they then finally asked for a stool sample, and it was showing Giardia. She was treated for this 3 times according to my parents while also on antibiotics. She has never got better, she has never once made an improvement. Now she’s had blood work done, in this appointment the vet made us aware there’s also a heart murmur. Which could also be why our dog’s gums are pale and cold. Low protein was found in her bloods. And now she’s on steroids because the vet thinks she has IBD? THINKS. So we had to go back in to collect steroids. PLE (protein-losing Enteropathy) syndrome has not been mentioned but I think this should have been spoken about by now. Also not, at one point, did they ask for another stool sample to see if the worms have cleared. They also didn’t think to prescribe her with mirtazapine when we went in on the day the bloods were taken. At this point, she was not eating. Why wasn’t this prescribed then? Apparently, the steroids should help with her appetite but this can take time (2+ days), we were told this when my mum phoned up to say she is still NOT eating. And now today, she was prescribed mirtazapine which also takes UP TO 2 DAYS to work. Apparently, my mum was also told that if this doesn’t work they will then investigate further. MAYBE INVESTIGATE NOW BECAUSE WE STILL DO NOT KNOW WHAT IS CAUSING THE ISSUE. SHE IS DYING AND WE ARE RUNNING OUT OF TIME. She NEEDS to be hospitalised ASAP. She is an emergency patient and they are treating her as if she is simply a dog coming in to be treated for a typical illness. STOP WASTING TIME. I have no power to do anything but sit and watch my parents put all their faith into this place while our deathly ill dog wastes away. The next time I’ll update this is either: 1. She finally makes an improvement and the underlying issue is investigated ASAP OR 2. They recommend there’s “not much more that can be done” (euthanised) because of their lack of urgency to treat something which could’ve been treated sooner.

This clinic is outstanding! There is simply no comparison to any other clinic we’ve tried for our furry family member. The staff is exceptionally compassionate, friendly, knowledgeable, and professional.

We moved to the area and have tried a few vets we haven't fully bonded with! Tried Wat Tyler vets following a recommendation and so happy. Not only were our cats and dogs' annual vaccinations much cheaper than all the other vets I called, but Frankie was so lovely with them all. She really engaged with our pets, and we didn't feel rushed. Staff all lovely and very patient. Plenty of parking. Would highly recommend.
