Companion Care (Basildon Pipps Hill) Ltd, operating as Vets4Pets, is a well-regarded veterinary clinic located in Basildon. The clinic boasts a strong reputation with a Google Maps rating of 4.5 stars based on 367 reviews, indicating a high level of customer satisfaction. This makes it a reliable choice for pet owners seeking quality veterinary services.
The clinic is noted for its Veterinary Nurse Training facility, which highlights its commitment to professional development and high standards of care. This is further reflected in the glowing reviews from clients. For instance, Andy Martin praised the clinic for its professionalism and lifesaving care provided to his cat. Similarly, Dave Bishop emphasized the genuine care shown towards animals, contrasting it with his negative experiences at other veterinary practices.
Dr. Ilianna, a prominent figure at the clinic, received specific commendation from a client for successfully performing an eye enucleation on a guinea pig, highlighting the expertise and dedication of the staff. The positive interactions with the reception staff also contribute to the clinic's welcoming environment, as noted by Simon Jobbins.
However, not all feedback is positive. Iolanta Gaitur reported difficulty reaching the clinic during a critical emergency, which led to her seeking help elsewhere. This suggests an area for improvement in communication and responsiveness during emergencies.
Overall, Companion Care (Basildon Pipps Hill) Ltd is highly recommended for its compassionate and professional veterinary services, though improvements in accessibility during emergencies could enhance client experiences further.

Staff are always friendly and want to engage in conversation, unlike most places.

Honestly can't thank them enough for the care they provided to our youngest cat, if it wasn't for their professionalism and knowing when to act there was a high chance we could have lost him, we cannot and will never be able to thank them enough for what they've done and what they're continuing to do during the monitoring time!

This place is great. Finding a vet that actually cares for the animals and is not just about getting more and more money out of you is harder than finding a unicorn. So much better than the 2 previous vets I've tried.

Having a guinea pig go under anaesthetic is always a big worry. We had to take one of ours in after his eye became very swollen and damaged. I cannot praise Dr Ilianna, the reception staff and the team who operated to do the eye enucleation, enough. As he was previously misdiagnosed and not properly checked by another practice, I was very uncertain how things would go. He's home recovering, being given emeraid and anything else I can get into him. The relief of being told the procedure was successful and he'd come through the anaesthetic fine, is indescribable. Chunky Monkey and his family are very grateful.
